Laura is originally from Greenville and has been working in the veterinary field for over five years. She enjoys working at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital because of the compassionate patient care and the strong client–patient relationships that are at the heart of the practice. Laura’s favorite part of her work is helping, healing, and caring for animals who do not have the ability to help themselves, while continuing to learn and grow under the guidance of veterinarians.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies from Clemson University and plans to attend veterinary school in the future. Currently, Laura is furthering her education by attending Piedmont Technical College in the Veterinary Technician Program.
In addition to her work in veterinary medicine, Laura proudly serves in the Army National Guard as a Chaplain Assistant, where she supports and cares for fellow service members. She is also actively involved in her community and volunteers at the Greenville Zoo.
At home, Laura is a proud pet parent to Smokey, a Bluetick Hound, and Memphis, an orange tabby cat. Her dedication to animals, service, and lifelong learning makes her a valued member of both the veterinary and local communities.
