Ashlee Brown is a graduate of Clemson University, where she studied Animal Science and Spanish and was part of the Women's NCAA Rowing Program. She then went to University of Georgia where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She then completed an internship at Equine Medical Center of Ocala before moving into mixed animal private practice.
Although her practice is predominantly western medicine and surgery, Dr. Brown is also certified in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in geriatric patient care, musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative disease. Along with Western Medicine, TCVM, nutritional consultation, environmental care, and herbal therapy, she hopes to bring comfort and relief to patients who are otherwise experiencing pain and suffering.
Dr. Brown lives in Simpsonville, SC with her husband, Philip, their dog, Basil, and cat, Decaf. She enjoys hiking, running, road biking and swimming. She loves Yoga and Orange Theory as well! Dr Brown loves to travel and incorporate Veterinary medicine into her adventures. Her parents, Mark and Cindy Brown, live in Greenville, SC. She has an older brother, Matthew, and two younger sisters, Rebecca and Kristina.
